Not gonna lie, next to Doctor Who, Sherlock Holmes, and Firefly, MLP:FiM is like my favourite TV show. I’ve already made a Fluttershy sim, in the sims 2, but the personality options in Sims 3 were just so tempting! So, I made all the “mane” ponies, plus an Apple Bloom, because I love Apple Bloom. I’m also considering making some other characters (like Princesses Celestia and Luna, Spike, and maybe Zecora or something), but we’ll have to see. I’m also working on some cutie mark tattoos!
In the meantime, ponies! Kind of.
ETA: I have gotten loads of people asking me about the custom content used to make these. While I would love to link to every single piece of CC used, I’m afraid that I no longer have access to my CC folder. That means I don’t know where everything comes from, anymore. 
Please be advised that I have gotten basically all of my CC from Garden of Shadows, and from stakeit_uk and engram_au on livejournal.

Wow. I really like Rarity and Fluttershy especially (I know that’s been said). I’m going to build a lovely mansion for them with lots of red curtains and a big garden for Fluttershy and a big library for Twilight and they will get up to all kinds of silly shenanigans! Thankyou, Katu!
I have issues with this as in :
- The hair doesn’t show up correctly
- The ears don’t show up as well
Do you mind uploading the files necessary for this to work ? Because I see you did a marvelous work and I really want them to work on my Sims 3.
I got every expansion except PETS and so on, but sadly I cant install it properly. All of them except RD are black skinned and all of them havent got those fancy ears / hairs.
How should I install it? Just put them into .sim folder?
Yes, just put them into the SavedSims folder. If they show up differently, it is because they use different custom content than what you have available. Their ears are done with a custom slider hack, and the skin colours are from Garden of Shadows. The hairs, too, are custom content. Your best bet is to download the content you want to use. Otherwise, if you’d prefer not to, you just need to change their clothing and their makeup to get rid of the black-skin effect.
Dont want to take your time or anything, but you’re much more exprienced with this things and I dont want to screw up Sims 3 with crapload of random modded content.
So, could you please send me download links for the things needed to work properly?
Or pack up stuff from your .package files needed for them to work? I would really appreciate it.

which expansion packs do you need for these? i made them using generations,late night, and world adventures.
I am not sure what you mean, but I believe these sims are compatible with the base game. If I’m not mistaken, any EP-specific clothing they might be wearing will simply be replaced with basegame stuff if you lack that EP.

This is really creative! I loved MLP as a child, and still like it, even though they look a LOT different now, lol. I love that you’ve made sims that are inspired by the ponies.
So is there a current TV show with the ponies? Is it on a lot? Is it on like Cartoon Network or something? I think my kids might enjoy it!
It wasn’t my favourite as a child, but I did like it. There is a new show, called My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. It’s only got one season at the moment (it’s on break), and it’s available at a site called The Hub, or you can watch it on YouTube. I watched it on YouTube, uploaded by MenloMarseilles, and I sincerely recommend this show to anyone, any age (unless they are a stick-in-the-mud). It’s definitely cheesy at points, and it won’t leave you tremendously intellectually stimulated, but it’s funny, well-animated, well voice-acted, and is clearly designed so that adults won’t want to stab themselves with rusty objects at every “joke.” XD
